Birds under the age of 6-8 months or recovering from an illness should start out and remain on the Harrison's Bird Food High Potency formulas for a period of at least 6 months. Some birds such as African Greys, Green-wing and Hyacinth Macaws, Queen of Bavaria Conures and Palm Cockatoos should remain on Harrison's High Potency bird food year-round.
