We currently have 28 birds in our flock. Some are rescues, some are permanent fosters, and some have come in from other places (yes, pet stores included.)

We have 20 budgies (Buddy, Storm, Chili, Fiona, Simon, Coraline, Percy, Dexter, Ben, Toby, Jack, Skeeter, Andy, Julian, Gertie, Calvin, Dylan, Soleil, Daphnie and Theodore), 4 lovebirds (Tuli, Macaroni, Luna and Genevieve), one cockatiel (Chanel), 2 parrotlets (Lilo and Lucas), and a maroon x black-capped conure (Patrick).

I became the proud "owner" of my first budgie when I was 8 years old. I have not been without a bird since then. I have over 20 years of experience with birds. In my young adulthood, I have immersed myself into bird-related activities and opportunities to learn.

I have taken online avian-medicine courses and I work part-time at Night Owl Bird Hospital. I have been a member of Greyhaven for over 6 years and regularly volunteer and attend events, plus I have participated in many other bird-related activities and learning experiences.
